An excellent meal and excellent service on a Saturday lunch. The meal was a Toki Highball, seafood ramen (half), kimchi french fries, and a hot chicken bun.
Let's talk about the ramen. The seafood ramen was delicious; the flavor was clean and subtle. Nothing fishy about the broth and the salmon roe added a perfect salty and umami decadence.
The kimchi fries were crisp and had just the right amount of chasu and the special sauce. Think of it as Asian chili fries if you can't picture what it looks like. The taste of the special sauce was that of yum yum and kimchi.
The hot chicken bun was also a treat. Dark meat chicken, the most underrated and flavor, was crisply fried and paired with pickles and a chili oil. The chili oil wasn't very spicy, in my opinion, but the pickles and a nice balance to the fried chicken.
My only gripe was the relation of the ramen bowl height to the table and seat. For me, the setup just seemed way too tall. It was awkward to reach down in my deep ramen bowl.
An adorable setting, with amazing food! We came for a lunch and split 3 rolls. All three were fresh, and so flavorful. We also got the seafood ramen, which was good, but not nearly as memorable as the rolls.
Pretty decent Ramen. I had the Spicy Curry Special and it wasn’t too spicy but very thick and greasy. I think this is a good place if you want to try something new. The Karaage chicken was awesome I would go back for just that.
