I believe this is the number 1 bakery in the city, she even has you covered if you are vegan. Mama P does custom cakes and was warm and friendly over the phone. She made us a vegan ice cream cake with 4 layers. It was impressively tall and so pretty. I wish I had taken a photo but we forgot because we were too excited to eat it. The cake part was marble and it was THE BEST marble cake I've ever had in my life. Usually marble cake isn't chocolatey enough but this one was the perfect blend of chocolate and vanilla flavors. Even my husband who is a pie man couldn't stop eating it. The shop is very cute and clean as well. The gentleman working there and his daughter were both super nice and did everything possible to be helpful. I am a difficult customer and I only give 5 star reviews if a place really stands out. Go have some cookies or try some cake, you won't be disappointed. Update! She made another gorgeous cake for us. This time it was a tuxedo cake with raspberry filling.
