I arrived at about 8 AM, and this place was a buzz of activity. Very busy for 8 AM, the restaurant was very nice, plenty of booth and tables to be comfortable. Coffee was hot delicious and my food was OK. Nothing over the top to brag about, at least not what I had. With the help of my server, I decided on the country fried steak and eggs platter. It wasn’t bad at all, it simply wasn’t the best I’ve had. Country fried steak, smothered with sausage gravy, two pieces of white toast, eggs your way I decided on scrambled and some hashbrowns. It was a nice restaurant, with good service. A decent place to eat. Don’t get me wrong.

Solid breakfast spot. Good portion size and fair prices. Greek omlette was very good. Cinnamon Apple pancakes were overwhelming in glaze (as pictured). Way too strong and sweet. Coffee was just okay. But overall, good service and food. 3.8 / 5.

The SO and I were able to be seated immediately around 11:30am on a Sunday morning, which is a rare and amazing feat for brunch in Indianapolis/Fishers. I had the strawberry cheesecake French toast with a side of hash browns, which were both good. He had the country fried steak skillet, which was good as well. Our server was pretty attentive and our food didn't take long. The only downside was that it didn't seem like fheir air conditioning was on or working well and it was very hot and humkd in there. We ate kind of quickly and left sweaty without finishing our coffee. Otherwise, would return sometime, maybe when it's cooler outside.

We really liked it. Good food, quick and friendly service. My only complaint is that the "2 eggs scrambled" were pretty small. I make two scrambled eggs for breakfast at home almost every day, and have more "egg" on my plate than this. So they must use small eggs. :-)

They have a big selection of classic breakfast items with plenty to choose from! Their strawberry cheesecake French toast was AMAZING. We were sat immediately, had great service, and food came out quickly - everything was delicious!

Awesome new restaurant in an area that needed a good one! The decor inside is not fancy, but it is clean and nice. The seating was comfortable and gave us plenty of room. The service was wonderful. The hostess was pleasant and our waitress was both attentive and friendly. Once we ordered, our food was out very quickly. The owner/manager came to our table and introduced himself, making sure things were good. The food itself was great. I got the two-egg breakfast with hash browns, smoked sausage (which was a unique and tasty offering), and Oreo cheesecake pancakes (definitely satisfied my sweet tooth). I will say, they are still working out a few kinks since they are a new restaurant. When we were seated, it took a while for someone to take our drink order (I am guessing the hostess forgot to tell the wait staff we had been seated). But once that happened, everything was spot-on. Once they are in operation for awhile, it will be truly awesome.

Great tasting breakfast. Get a good amount of food for the price. Coffee is always refilled. They have a chili cheese breakfast omelette and burrito which I haven't found anywhere. It did not disappoint. You can get pancakes with your omelette too which should be an expectation. My new favorite in HamCo.

A solid breakfast place that I can get to without having to deal with 96th street. The breakfast scene in this neck of the woods is honestly pretty bleak. A2Z Cafe is probably the lone standout. Besides that, it is just a bunch of chains. So here comes Skillets, taking over a space that was formerly occupied by a Mexican restaurant. I've often referred to this strip mall as a Failing Strip Mall, but it seems to have recently obtained several new tenants over the last few months. The interior hasn't changed much, and there's actually still some signage by the entrance indicating what used to be here. Despite it being a pancake house, I opted for my standard breakfast sandwich stacked with bacon and eggs. Though a bit heavy on the salt, the portions on the sandwich were plentiful. That it comes with a side of hash browns made it more than enough of a meal for my post-bike ride hunger. Service was prompt and my water and coffee were filled throughout. Business seemed to be relatively good for the first day. Honestly this is probably one of my most positive "first day of business" dining experiences, and am glad to have a nearby breakfast option that isn't Starbucks and grab-and-go. Welcome to the neighborhood.
