I absolutely loved this place. I'm a BBQ snob, and this was easily in my all-time top 5 BBQ places. I went ahead and ordered the Ultimate Hog Heaven Sampler platter. It comes with everything they make in the smoker, and it's a lot of food. Pick 2 sides. I picked the beans and mac and cheese. The beans had a little too much chili powder for my taste. The mac and cheese was good, but it seemed like it was heated from a bag. Dont let this overshadow the meat. They know what they are doing. I got 3 of the 4 BBQ sauces they make. The caralina gold is as you would guess a mustard sauce, which is fantastic. The other was what I'm assuming is their pit sauce, and the 3rd was a spicy sauce. All 3 were great. If you're looking to just get individual meats, it goes like this: the brisket was very tender with a great flavor, the ribs were perfectly cooked and juicy, the pulled pork was tender, the turkey was a little dry for me but good flavor and last the chicken was about as good as you can get it. Everything had a light smoke, not too heavy. You really can't go wrong with what you choose as they are all very good. The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were clean. They are tucked in a little cove with mangroves blocking the wind. And there's also a little tiki bar out by the ocean. This is a great spot to eat. Friendly service and great prices.
