Love this place and we always stop here either going to the key west or back from. Meredith was our awesome bartender out on the deck bar and helped us with our food choices. My wife said her brisket was fantastic and I had a half smoked chicken with the best tasting baked beans I've ever had. Can't wait to try another dish, a beer and look out into the open water.
I absolutely loved this place. I'm a BBQ snob, and this was easily in my all-time top 5 BBQ places. I went ahead and ordered the Ultimate Hog Heaven Sampler platter. It comes with everything they make in the smoker, and it's a lot of food. Pick 2 sides. I picked the beans and mac and cheese. The beans had a little too much chili powder for my taste. The mac and cheese was good, but it seemed like it was heated from a bag. Dont let this overshadow the meat. They know what they are doing. I got 3 of the 4 BBQ sauces they make. The caralina gold is as you would guess a mustard sauce, which is fantastic. The other was what I'm assuming is their pit sauce, and the 3rd was a spicy sauce. All 3 were great. If you're looking to just get individual meats, it goes like this: the brisket was very tender with a great flavor, the ribs were perfectly cooked and juicy, the pulled pork was tender, the turkey was a little dry for me but good flavor and last the chicken was about as good as you can get it. Everything had a light smoke, not too heavy. You really can't go wrong with what you choose as they are all very good. The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were clean. They are tucked in a little cove with mangroves blocking the wind. And there's also a little tiki bar out by the ocean. This is a great spot to eat. Friendly service and great prices. Thanks for the experience! I will definitely be back.
You have to stop in, it's set back off US 1 cost to the water but this is a great place. Atmosphere is awesome and the staff were great. Shane the manager really made our first experience memorable. You gotta try the Toasted Marshmlow shot. We had the Fried Cheese Curds, Brisket Deviled Eggsv and the Conch Fritters. The Conch Frtiiers were the best I have eaten. Don't miss this place.
