Their food was fantastic. My chicken was really tastey and my boyfriends duck was cooked perfectly. Service was expectionally friendly. They were even awesome enough to keep the sunglasses my boyfriend left so I could come back and get them =] if u want good Thai check them out!
This is the Thai place I've been looking for since I left the city. Too many places in Jax send you out the door with a box of dry noodles and call it pad thai, but Lemongrass has flavorful sauces, fresh and ample vegetables, and just the right amount of tasty wok char.
I don't know much about Thai cooking, but I've eaten a lot of it. If you've ever thought that every thai place in this town is missing something but can't quite articulate what it might be, try this out.
It feels a little fancier than most of the Asian restaurants around, but prices are right in line with everywhere else here (inexplicably, no pad thai for under $10 exists anywhere here).
Our waitstaff was extremely polite and in a rare move for a local Thai restaurant, nobody bitched at us for showing up only 90 minutes before closing!
This is our favorite Thai place in JAX by far. I have been to many other Thai places and havent found any better. Our favorite waitress no longer works there so the service is a little slow. We dont go to Lemongrass for amazing serice though. We go there for the food. Try Drunken Noodles, Basil Fried Rice, The Amazing, Pad Thai, and Toam Kha Gai soup.
