We skipped out of work early & decided to have a girls day with no kids. We went during happy hour 3-7p. Poor Laura was all alone as this place was empty. We requested to sit outside bc it was warmer. Laura didn't miss a beat! And the cooks we're on point! Everything was a beautiful ending to a lovely kids less lunch. Highly recommend and will be returning .
I decided to try Barrique Kitchen on a Friday night with two friends. Originally, I thought I booked a reservation, but the restaurant couldn't find my reservation in the system. It still wasn't a problem to seat us though which was nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice with soft lighting. I think this would definitely be an ideal date night place.
Overall, the experience was good. I think I enjoyed my drinks more than my food, but it could have just been my taste buds that were off. The most memorable thing in my meal had to be the calamari and Mediterranean Moscow Mule which was very tasty. The calamari was fried tempura style which was very unique to me but very good. I'm not sure what the twist of the name was for the Mediterranean Moscow Mule but the taste was what a normal Moscow Mule is slightly sweet and spicy with the ginger beer. I would probably come back again for cocktails.
I went here for lunch and I think it's a nice little spot. The interior was clean and we'll organized. Our waitress was nice, she explained the menu and was knowledgeable of the wines and dishes (unfortunately I cannot remember her name). We had the charred Octopus, wine flight (which was half off) and the goat cheese ravioli, all were delicious. I would definitely go back for more.
