My family eats dinner here every Sunday. Benito is from Italy and makes delicious, authentic, homemade Italian food. The marinara sauce and lasagna are both excellent, as are most other dishes! Benito and his wife are so warm and welcoming. They have 5 (I believe) children of their own and many grandchildren. They welcome our 3 young kids with open arms and never fail to make us feel like a part of their family. Highly recommended!
I am a bit delayed in writing this review, but I don't do them often. I work nearby, and knew Benito ' s was going to be open on Jan 1st, so I took my mom and son there to try it out since a friend of mine works in the kitchen and told me how clean it was and how glad he was to have a good job (finally) at a restaurant.
Benito didn't realize I worked close by and he waited on us personally, gave us suggestions and then even provided a free appetizer since it was a holiday. The real cake topper moment was when he came out at the end of our meal and invited my 6 year old son in the kitchen to make a pizza with him to take home. Seriously, who does that? Amazing. I eat there at least once a week (even when I can only have salad because I may have already cheated for the week) now because of Benito. His wonderful staff, Tony, Mike, Julia are amazing and I apologize at having forgot my great server's name recently as well, but they are all exactly why you go here to spend your money and NOT anywhere else.
Great place to get take-out, but it also has a nice small dining area. The staff is super friendly. The food is great, and the stromboli is huge! Previously had the marsala and it was perfect; showed up early, and i think they may have hurried it since it was a little thin, but delicious nonetheless.
