Highly recommend as a lunch hot spot. They have daily specials that are worth going back each day to try. Fast, friendly service and affordable, made-to-order meals with large portions.
Today was my third visit, perfect time for a review! I could say this is your "typical diner" food but that is only somewhat true. There are some pretty special menu items also - ranging from great Southern favorites, to homestyle classics, and topnotch sandwiches. Everything I've tried here has been very tasty. On my first visit I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad which was pretty standard. But the Marinated Beef Tips over Crack & Cheese (aka Mac & Cheese) was outstanding! Be prepared to share this one. The Reuben sandwich was amazing - with thick sliced corned beef served on toasted bread. Honestly some of the best corned beef I’ve had anywhere! My friend ordered a juicy Frankenstein burger and raved about it. Jax Diner is worth a visit for a burger, hot french fries, and their Crack & Cheese!
Cozy place. I had the Classic Breakfast with hash browns, bacon, and biscuit. Added a side of sausage gravy. My guest had the Jax Up - she loved it too. Everything was delicious and delightfully southern. Can't wait to try lunch for my next visit.
Best customer service I've seen in a restaurant. After a poor experience with Grub Hub, the owner personally delivered the food we ordered along with a few extras as an apology, even though the fault wasn't the Diner's. AND the food was still delicious. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
