My friends and I have been going to Ashiya regularly for over 10 years now, and the experience and the quality of the food has been consistent since then. Despite the low prices, you get fresh fish, generous bento boxes, and the best tempura you'll find for miles (within NJ, at least). Also, they make the best tempura ice cream ever had. They have a strange period where they're closed between 3PM and 5PM during weekdays day (staff break or prepping, perhaps), but other than that, my friends and I keep coming back year after year.
