Why did we wait so long to try this place? It was absolutely AMAZING! I am super picky about burgers and ground meat in general, probably from growing up on a farm. The meat is fresh ground twice a day and I could taste the difference; this is NOT a pre-formed frozen patty kind of place! I kid you not, I would pay full price for the patty without bread or toppings; the meat has flavor all by itself! We ordered the Booty Burger (it’s a Louisiana thang...if fried boudin is offered on anything I’m gettin’ it!), the Hee Haw burger, and onion rings! The fried boudin was a unique touch on a burger, very tasty and lit my world on fire (I’m a baby about pepper so don’t be scared; that burger was spot on!)! The onion rings were...I don’t know where to start...light, crispy batter (yes, batter, NOT breading) and soft, yet crisp, onions - if the burgers weren’t so good, I could make a meal out of the onion rings!These onion rings had NOT been sitting under a warming light; they put them down when we ordered! Back to those burgers...hubbie had the HeeHaw and ate the whole thing! (I really wanted a taste of the fried green tomato!) I could tell he was struggling to finish but wasn’t going to leave a bite (he took a 2 hour nap when we got home!)! Sooooooo worth the money! I absolutely love the atmosphere (want to go back and enjoy the patio!) and can’t wait to take my parents next time they are in town! Side note: while reading the menu at the door, the owner came out to chat! Super nice guy, even though - at least judging from the posts on this page - he might be an Alabama fan (geaux Tigers!)! The restaurant was VERY clean, everyone was super nice, the food was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back!

OK let me start this of by saying as a big guy I love me a good burger. Also as someone who's wife has Cajun blood in her I love me some good boudin. After seeing folks talk about Willy's on a Katy foodie page I thought I'd check it out. I got the Booty Burger and onion rings. The onion rings are not prefab but homemade which I love. They tasted fantastic. The Booty Burger was everything I could ask for. For starters it was huge, almost too much for me to finish. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The boudin was like a boudin ball in party form and some of the best boudin I've had. Throw on the creole mustard and other toppings you got one heck of a burger. Yes Willy's can be a bit pricey but I've got no issue with that seeing as everything is made to order and well worth the price. Will I be back, you bet I will.
