This is the best Mexican I've ever eaten! The chips are thin and homemade and come with three homemade salsas. I had the firecracker shrimp tacos and my husband had a taco salad type meal. Both were out of this world delicious. The margaritas were perfect; not too strong, and not weak. And our server Jo was a doll. Great ambiance too! - You'll be so impressed! Can't wait to take our kids here when they visit. Thank you!

We drove 2 1/2 hrs to go to this restaurant for my husbands birthday. This is his favorite restaurant and we have never been disappointed at any of the Abuelo restaurants. They serve excellent authentic Mexican dishes and have the best service. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves Mexican food or just really goood food.

I had a combo plate which had a taco, enchiladas, tamale, chile relleno, beans, guacamole...all very tasty. The server was attentive, but not overly. Very nice atmosphere, just what you would expect from an upscale Mexican restaurant. Very good Sangria too.
