We tried Burger Bar and Grill in Laporte (Formerly McFall's Tavern) last week. It's a tiny place, that isn't pretentious. Not beautiful or modern, but super clean and a nice little hangout kind of spot. The menu is simple: burgers, chicken (grilled/crispy), pulled pork sliders, hot dogs, a few salads and a million different Fried appetizers. We walked in about 7, the bartender/server (name is lost in my shuffled brain at the moment) greeted us and we ordered beverages, and then proceeded to talk to us about the menu and what they were all about (HUUUUGE points for that, wish it happened more). Our sodas and waters came nice and cold with plenty of refills, since their AC was being taxed and had a temporary malfunction (tis the season). First, we picked an appetizer sampler that had a choice of 5 different things. Forgive me if I don't get them completely correct: Pretzel Bites, Mini Tacos, Fried Cauliflower, Broccoli Cheddar Bites and Onion Petals. Then you pick 5 different sauces (I'm not going to rack my 4 brain cells that work to remember all of those). Served on about a 12" dinner plate, it was well worth the $ at around $10. Not overfilled but it was perfect portion for two hungry folks. Server treated us like we were the only folks that mattered, same with the other customers. I'm probably on my third refill of Diet Pepsi and seventh glass of ice water, automatically brought to me without questions. I ordered a tank sized burger (1/2 lb.)on grilled sourdough with with Gouda, mayo, Tomato and Onion. Heather ordered 1/4 lb. burger (name and her fixings escape me, due to above stated forgetfulness). Great flavor, meat tasted good. I failed by not ordering by temp...still was a good sandwich. For $2, you can order endless Fries/Chips, but the app Platter was enough. By, this time I have lost track of the amount of being my refills the server kept up with, happily. I thoroughly enjoyed this place, and when I get my hands on some dollar bills and in Laporte, I will bring an even bigger appetite and try more. They also have a feature burger and chicken sandwich of the week and lunch delivery for all of you wild Laporte people. Enjoyable food and hydration at a decent price. Go there!

I'm so glad I found this place!!! Where do I begin?! They're Green Bay Fans, the place is decorated super cute and has a homey feeling, the food is amazing and they have Burn Em on tap! Go check it out for yourself! ����
