This evening, we were treated to Zydeco Po Boy & Daiquiri Company, right down from The Lab Handcrafted Coffees & Comforts on Stonemont. It is a wonderful, fly-under-the-radar, best-kept-secret kind of place likely to become one of Lafayette's favorites.
Walls filled with local art are offset nicely by comfortable seating and dixieland jazz over the radio. The menu has a fun selection, well-priced, with originality blending with good local flavor. The shrimp ramoulade po-boy, for instance, was not only extremely good, the shrimp nice and juicy, but big enough that I had to bring half home, and their hand-blended Ruston Peach daiquiri was like a sneaky alcoholic Cajun Sno.
Do yourselves a favor: go on by, ladies and gentlemen, and let Caroline and Jay treat you like you're an old friend. I guarantee you, we'll be going back a bunch.

The Laffy cheesesteak is the ultimate go to for a hot sandwich. If you are looking for seafood option the shrimp remoulade is also an excellent choice. There is also easy access to the restaurant with it being right next to city club and the Lab coffee.
