This place is a Portland institution. Have eaten here for decades in many locations. Great quality and service. The soups and hot dishes come home for special occasions. Makes The Portland area special and feels like home.

I had a great experience for lunch/pre 5 dinner. BLT was terrific with avocado and my colleagues Cheeseburger looked great. We were offered samples of pasta and wine at 5 on a Thursday and the customer service was stellar! To top it off it was 2 girls first day and their smile and eagerness was awesome. I’ll definitely be back to this spot and great atmosphere btw…

Great place to stock up on picnic foods. Everything we got was pretty good. Kale salad and quinoa salad were a pretty good value at 8 bucks. The fruit salad was a little light. They did have a lot of gluten free options. People were nice, place was clean.
