We were on our way to another restaurant for lunch when we saw Lieu's on 199 and changed our mind. Glad we did! We found some amazing authentic Vietnamese food. The server was very quick and seemed to be operating the entire restaurant by himself, which made the experience unique. We opted to try both the crispy egg rolls and the spring rolls, both were top notch. I like that they serve the egg rolls with the lettuce pieces to make a wrap and dip with the sauce! Soooo good!!! Also tried a bowl of Pho with the variety beef, came with brisket and meatballs. Very flavorful and hot! Very similar to the Haltom City pho, if you've been over there. Restaurant has seen better days and needs some TLC, but the food and service are top notch! I'd highly recommend this place for some FIRE Vietnamese food. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing little hole in the wall. The Vietnamese food is better and more authentic than most high priced restaurants. We usually get the pan fried flat noodle which is savory and combined with the green tea is amazing. They didn’t have any alcohol but we were welcome to bring our own.
Authentic food and quick service. Would give it a 4.5 stars but Google doesn't give half stars
App: shredded pork spring rolls (no peanut sauce)
We had beef meatball pho (excellent pho broth) and grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli (grilled pork was mmm mmmm gooood!)
Drinks: Thai tea (sweet side) and strawberry shake.
Food is getting expensive everywhere though so anticipate about $13-18 per main dish when ordering.
