Recently went back, and today I had the absolute best chicken sandwich I've ever had here. It was clearly fresh as could be, nice and crisp, almost too hot to eat (which is a good thing!!) I couldn't stop and wished I had another!! Thanks for the redemption service!!
Well this place usually has the standard Popeyes experience, decent chicken, excellent sandwiches. This time however, my spicy chicken sandwich was not crispy whatsoever, very soggy, not very enjoyable. And for $5, I figure I would get pretty decent sandwich like usual. Hence the three stars, rating might go up if consistency improves.
I use to manage a Popeyes here in Lansing back in the 80s. I haven't had it in a long time. I received some coupons and gave it a try. It brought back some good memories. Chicken was great! Biscuits were a lil dry but tasty.
This Popeyes went out of their way when I was in a life threatening situation and my order was stolen by a dasher. The manager Franky and a new dasher that was assigned worked over 20 minutes to get my ordered reordered and the food to me in a timely fashion. Never have I ever received service like this from a fast food place before and I’m grateful and thankful for the crew that worked that night.
