Fantastic addition to the downtown area! Lansing definitely needed a legit coffee shop and Troost is it! The drinks are delicious and every barista is knowledgeable about the menu. It is so incredibly nice to walk into a place full of character, charm, and genuine people. Added bonus: the owner, Renae, is amazing - round of applause for women making things happen in small business (with a little assist from coffee, of course).
I'm not kidding when I say everything I've tried here is good, mostly because their drinks aren't completely masked in sugar - you can taste the coffee, which any real coffee drinker wants!
Shop local and you won't be disappointed.
Delicious food, even better coffee. Cozy atmosphere. Has all the things one looks for in a coffee shop. Highly recommend!
