This is a beloved location to all the locals. The food is delicious, but there isn't much in variety for dinner here. However, if this doesn't bother you and you just want to load up on chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, beans, and rolls, I highly recommend this location, especially for the low price of an adult buffet for $9.99! The only reason I give this place a 4/5 is because the exterior and interior alike are run down and need to be redone. But if you're just looking to get your grub on, who really cares about that as long as the food and the surrounding area is safe? Which I assure you, they are.
A really good place to eat with great fried Chicken, wonderful rolls and good all-around food. For the negative, the structure and furniture are older and show deterioration and aging. Personally, as someone who appreciates good food more than a shiny visual, it's one of my favorite places to eat chicken!
The food here was surprisingly good. I've never had Hartz before. The chicken was a fried in a batter similar to Krogers but better. Their mashed potatoes and gravy taste like churches chicken. They have catfish, hot wings, tenders all on the buffet. Sides include green beans, corn, and an assortment of other options. Salad options exist along with some jello and pudding. For 9.99 after tax that is a solid deal.
