Update: I recently ordered the "Little Brother" from Minton's food truck, and it was delicious! Pan fried smoked sausage on a hoagie roll topped with homemade mac & cheese.
One of our favorite spots in Lexington, and an amazing addition to our food scene; owner and owner's mother are very friendly and not afraid to take risks in its menu. Limited seating, an unusual location, but none of that matters once you try the food.
On our first trip, my wife ordered the Johnny Cakes (sweetened buttermilk cornmeal, served with toasted pecans and honey). My sister ordered the Turkey Jack (grilled sourdough with oven-roasted turkey, pepper jack cheese, and pesto mayo), served with sea salt and peppered kettle chips. I ordered the Potato and Onion Omelet (sauteed potato and white onion in a fluffy omelet topped with sliced scallions).
On our second trip, my wife ordered the Biscuits and Gravy (Weisenberger mill buttermilk biscuits topped with homemade white sausage gravy), and a side of thick hand-cut bacon. I ordered the special, which was the sweet potato hash (a plate full of diced and sautéed sweet potatoes, mixed with spinach, sautéed white onions, sausage and egg).
We cannot wait to go back!
Great food and wonderful service. They have great options for anyone with diet concerns.
Wow!. Went there for the first time and was very impressed! Ashley knows what it's all about. Can't wait to try her Food Truck. I will returning as often as I can!
Thanks Ashley!
Nice!. Went out for brunch and ordered the vegan hash. It came with sweet potatoes, spinach, onions, green peppers, and homemade (?) veggie sausage. Was awesome! Cute little place and the man working was very friendly. A must for vegans/vegetarians!
Loved it!. The Jeesh was really good! Large portion as well. Excited to come back and try more items.

Minton's a Lexington Gem. The top-notch fare at Minton's at 760 is a familiar to a southerner as a tall glass of iced tea on a sunny Sunday morning. From the oven roasted ribs to the pulled-pork sandwich, Chef Ashley Minton executes old favorites with personal flair at a great value. Old favorites aside, Minton's regularly and enthusiastically adapts its dishes to suit vegan, vegetarian, and other diets. Whether carry out, dine in, or catering, Minton's at 760 consistently provides highly personal service to exquisite cuisine.
Had Lunch today. Great Food! Had a sausage hot dog with home style Mac and cheeses on top. It was amazing. Wish it had another side option. With chips was soooo many carbs. But the chips were good. Loved it I will be back
Accommodating to my husband on a low-carb diet. Chicken salad on greens was good. Found a bone in the chicken - but didn't mind so much because it told me it wasn't canned chicken, haha. Prices are reasonable. Plus they have "Mexican" bottled Coke made with sugar and not HFCS! Can't wait to try breakfast there.
Down home cooking... SERIOUS desserts!. Finally made it out to Minton's and regret not going sooner. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. I'd only had one hot brown before (at Hall's on the River) and had not been a huge fan. Not wanting to write off this Kentucky delicacy, I decided on a Hot Brown and an Ale 8. It was AWESOME. Instead of white gravy from a mix (like at Hall's) it had a delicious cheesy sauce that was freshly made. The portion was just right and served piping hot with crispy bacon on top. Lunch was great and felt very home cooked but things jumped up yet another notch when it was time for dessert! That was some serious cheesecake! We had the Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake which was chocolate with a nuttly glaze and chocolate sauce. It looked beautiful and tasted even better... seriously the best cheesecake I've ever had.
Great little spot. Salad was superb with fresh apples and a delicious dressing. The days Chili was also great, with good portions. Will go back again for sure.
Great food! Awesome service! Wonderful environment! 28/28 thumbs up!
