Funky chicken pizza was tasty. Slow service though. Nice place to stop by for a pint and a slice though.
I was there when Pazzo's was founded and couldn't wait to go back: it was always a favorite for me and my students when I was there. The pizza is still really good, though I think that the pepperoni probably needs to be a touch crispier. The spinach salad, long my favorite, doesn't quite hold up to the original, but it's still quite good. The interior style is still very comfortable, just bright enough to avoid being called dim, just dim enough to avoid feeling glib. The beer selection is better than ever, and there's seating outside that they didn't have back in the day. Looking forward to going back again!
I'm not from Lexington, so I had no idea what to expect from this place. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that it's huge! The wife and I went there around 5:45pm so I can only speak to the dinner crowd, but the night scene there. The atmosphere was cool, you know a typical bar atmosphere. The service was good and so was the food. Their bread sticks are hollow on the inside and crunchy oh the outside. Overall really good. Their pizza also had a crunchy crust and was proportionally made right. Not too much cheese, sauce, or anything else.
