Beautiful little bakery with awesome breakfast!! Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon for me and French toast for the wife. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to grab a meal while in Lexington, Va!
Met with Shane (owner) of the Sweet Treats Bakery yesterday for my wedding cake consultation! My family and I had to return today for lunch and oh my it was fantastic!! My mom has the vegetable panini, acorn squash soup, dad had the pastrami and I had the gyro! All fantastic and the crisp warm potato chips completed the dish! We also had the lemon meringue pie, pumpkin cupcake and chocolate cake to go for my fiancé!
Bottom line after my play by play above, The Sweet Treats Bakery is a perfect stop for a meal or for your wedding cake! This was the BEST tasting cake I've ever tasted and we had so many samples during our consultation, but neither of us felt sugar overload. Very light but full of flavor! In case you were wondering... 5 stars!
