Breadbox Cafe is in the middle of nowhere in Long Island City. But it is a good thing because it has its own parking lot and plenty of outside seating space. It is perfect for brunch and good for children. We were here with another couple and we parked two strollers there without any issue. The menu contains good brunch dishes as well as sandwiches and burgers. I tried their Shashouka, which is a Israeli (I think?) poached egg dish in some spicy tomato sauce and it comes with some nice grains and pita bread. It is very very good and the portion is generous. My husband tried their salmon benedict and it is also truly delicious and they don't skim on the lox! We will for sure return for more weekend meals here.

Perfect place to get a sandwich and a coffee for lunch. Their sandwiches are really good, including skirt stake sandwich, which is cooked perfectly! $12 Bellini and mimosa brunch special is an awesome addition!

The shaksouka was new to me and a very pleasant surprise! Everything else looked good that came out if the kitchen and the staff were very nice. Looking forward to coming back!
