Nick’s Cafe near Chinatown and Union Station left an indelible impression, especially with their French toast. From the moment the plate arrived, the aroma of warm, cinnamon-infused goodness enveloped the table. The French toast itself was a culinary masterpiece — golden-brown perfection on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside.
The attention to detail was evident; each slice had just the right balance of sweetness, and the hint of vanilla elevated the overall flavor profile. Topped with a dusting of powdered sugar and a generous dollop of whipped butter, it was a visual and gastronomic delight.
What stood out beyond the delectable French toast was the warm and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable.
While I indulged in the French toast, glancing around, it was evident that Nick’s Cafe takes pride in their diverse menu. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food, making it a great value for a satisfying breakfast.

Nick's Cafe in LA was highly recommended and didn't disappoint. They seem to know what they're doing for 75 years!
Their "signature" Ham & Eggs is a standout with fresh homemade hash browns. I try to never order greasy, frozen tasteless hash browns but these were neither.
