El Gallo Grill is reopened. El Gallo was closed for three years as noted by another reviewer, but has since reopened. El Gallo is under the same ownership as the bakery of the same name across the street. The corporate office is above and behind the bakery. The bakery has been there for fifty years. Both the bakery and the restaurant have free off street parking. The grill offers high quality meats cooked very well, prices are higher than normal for the neighborhood, but worth it. I've been in the area all my life, I was baptized 62 years ago a couple of doors down at La Soledad Catholic Church. The steaks come with grilled scallions, the side dishes you can choose is the delicious grilled tomatoes, Spanish rice or frijoles de olla. The decor is quite pleasant, there's al fresco dining out back. Definitely a place you can take company with confidence. The bakery is also good, but not as classy as the restaurant. I don't patronize the bakery anymore because there are often long lines and there's not much space to wait your turn in.
I was at El Gallo Grill Today For A Birthday Get Together For A Friend Of Mine. We Sat Out in The Patio. The Food Was Real Good. Different N Unique From Other Restuarants. The Service was Good n The Atmosphere was Excellent.
