So much to like about this place. Comfortable place to eat, drink, watch a variety of sports on screens all around the restaurant bar. Great food and a large variety of beers on tap. Hamburgers are large and tasty and I recommend the garlic fries. Also 6 variety of tacos and lower priced on Tuesdays. Homemade beef stroganoff, good salads and still trying more on the menu.
The Crow's Nest was an unexpected and wonderful surprise. Over the years, I have seen more than one sports bar come and go in that location. When the owners of the Crow's Nest began remodeling, I expected it would be more of the same. I was very wrong.
The Crow's Nest has 48 different beers on tap at all times. These range from IPAs to lagers to ales. As an avid beer lover, I can't begin to say how nice it is to have so many tasty options!
And the food... There are peanuts in the shell available for snacking on, but there is much more to be had!
Breakfast: Their biscuits and gravy are a little disappointing (the gravy is too runny for my taste), but the Eggs Benedict is excellent, as are the omelettes.
Lunch: If you can't find a burger to suit your taste, you're being way too picky. The meat is juicy and flavorful, and has been cooked just the way I ordered it every time. Their sandwiches are tasty, too.
Dinner: This was, for me, the biggest and most wonderful surprise. The Crow's Nest does steaks better than anyone in town! Just yesterday I learned that the owner has an arrangement with a local rancher. What a difference it makes!
I could wax rhapsodic about the flavor of the ribeyes, how well they are aged, and so on, but I would rather have you go to the Crow's Nest, order a meal and a pitcher of beer, play a few games of pool, and just have a good time.
:-)
What a great Group of people that work there !!!!especially Sue at art and Michelle and all the Sports fans to come and watch all the games, tons of beer on tap TVs everywhere what a wonderful experience of a great community
