Bryan's Steaks is one of the best hidden gems in Lubbock Texas! Not only was the food good, the service is great, and the prices are fantastic! The inside of this place looks like it probably did when it opened. But that adds the scene of this entire place! Don't let that be a deterrent. The price was amazing! I had the Golden Fried Fish lunch special that is $8.49. That does not include a drink. But it does come with an all-you-can-eat salad buffet option! The 'salad bar' has everything from salad, cold vegetables, fried okra, green beans, corn, hush puppy sticks, and various cold salads. The deep fried fish was also very good. For the price, this was great food!
If you are going for lunch, plan on a wait. I think we waited for probably 15-20 minutes but it was definitely worth it. Also, plan on circling the parking lot several time during lunch to find a spot. Their parking lot cannot handle the traffic that their restaurant brings in. But there is a reason why so many people want to come here to eat! The food is great, prices are fantastic, and the service is equally as good. I would recommend eating here and I will be back!
We had the fried fish launch special with salad bar. The price was reasonable. The salad bar was really good. We absolutely loved it. It had various options for vegetarians. The fish was okay a bit bland. Good baked potato. Will go there again for the salad bar.
We used to eat here all of the time when I was growing up. My kiddos loved the salad bar. My son got the chopped steak and loved it. My husband and I got a steak. They were good. The only complaint I have is that it would have been nice to get my steak when my family did. That way we could share the meal together. We will be back again.
