Favorite. BBQ in town for the taste. As a Tech student I usually order the Tech Cycle which is a bingo burger with your choice of 2 sausage or beef sandwiches or one of each. The chopped beef is easily my favorite and is incredibly moist and high quality. The (somewhat) new jalapeno and cheese sausage sandwich is awesome Bingo burger is unique but not very big. Tom and Bingo's sauce is worth writing home about. It is very unique as it is more of a tangy orange style rather than sweeter. I urge you to put it on everything there. What really makes this place awesome is the classic Mom and Pop BBQ shack setup of the place. The place is just a cool little unassuming joint on 34th that is run by a wonderfully nice family. Always friendly and always genuine. If your looking for Lubbock s best brisket go to Tom and Bingos
Alive and well!. "The rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated!" T&B was erroneously reported as no longer in business which is absolutely false! They are still serving the best BBQ sandwiches in town 6 days a week, but when the brisket is gone they close, usually around 2-3pm each day. So get there early so you won't be disappointed.
Unique and delicious. We stopped by looking for a quick lunch in between baseball games. It isn't really an eat in place, although there are school desks lining the walls. Your choices are lean brisket and regular brisket. So, we chose the regular brisket, but it was nice and lean and moist. Delicious! The sauce is in a center island with pickles and onions. The sauce has a very distinct flavor, kind of smokey and tangy, but I loved it. It reminded me of Shorty's in Miami. We are definitely going to try and get back there if we are in town.
