Visited this store on my way from OKC back to Fort Worth.
Saw the signs during my travel so I had to stop.
Met inside by Leslie, Marisa & Kay
These women were so very nice.
Answered all of my questions, let me take many photos (even inside the meat locker...see the pics) AND gave me a sampler of the specialty meats that are produced there...OMG!!!
All were great...the smoked ham biscuit sandwich was DELISH! At least 5 people came in for multiple orders of these while I was there...and I now know why!!!
I also bought the Beef Jerky...real JERKY, Hot Chow Chow,, Jalapeño Summer Sausage-YUMMY & Smoked Cheddar Cheese...which Leslie was happy to slice up to my desired thickness and pack up for a long ride.
The dining room provides home-cooked meals and is very
inviting.
Lots of other items as well to buy and see...check out the history board of the Robertsons Family and business timeline...very interesting.
This location will be a stop on my next visit for sure. There are other locations in OK and TX too.
A great experience so give them a try...You will not be disappointed!
Sometime food just makes you want to cry.
If you are looking for the next over-priced gourmet ham sandwich, look elsewhere because Robertson's is not the place for you. Robertsons' ham sandwiches are made from their own ham. It isn't the slimy packaged ham from the store, but real quality ham.
I found Robertson's while on a road trip through Oklahoma. On the fifth time through in the last few weeks, I planned my stop at Robertson's and I was shocked that a simple ham sandwich could bring back so many memories of road trips and outings with my grandparents when I was young. Sometimes things don't need to be improved - like a ham sandwich.
While I enjoyed my sandwich plain with a little barbecue sauce, you can get yours any way you want. And bring a cooler, you will want to take some to go.
Simple and delicious. The ham sandwich on white bread is fantastic. They have jams and salsas that are also decently priced. They sell sausages and lunch meat to take home also. The jalapeño summer sausage is great. I stop at a Robertson's every every time I see a sign.
3 sandwiches, 2 jars of salsa, and a sausage cost ~$50. Excellent prices.
