... no sooner had we finished our beverages that refills were offered along with the object of our desire, each bite of the juicy bird rife with seasoning and spice without being “hot” and the skin literally shattering to tooth, any bits that fell off placed on a piece of white bread with a dash of hot sauce making a sandwich every bit as delicious as it was debaucherous.

The Original Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. This is the original location located outside of Memphis in Mason, TN. I finally got to try the "original" location and it is delicious. It is a simple, little place that is located in the 'middle of no-where' and I love everything about it. If you ever get the chance venture to this location, please go! It is a culinary experience that is famous the world over!
