They are not closed. This location is open. Bank of America is next door to this post office, so that must be where the other reviewer's confusion came from. The entrance to this is in an alley-type walkway in between buildings. I walked in and was immediately helped. The staff seemed much more personable than other locations around town, and I got what I needed and left. I definitely recommend this branch!

The Peabody Post Office location feels like the center the DT community. Sort of like a USPS version of Cheers. The service is excellent. The conversation is excellent. The office is located on the Main Street Trolley. It is popular for tourists, office workers, seniors, and Downtown residents. I regularly use and would highly recommend.
