Fiamma had 2 of the 3 main aspects of a great Pizza. Ordered a Personal Margarita Pizza well done, that was $13.75..Perfect size, but would be considered pricey in the Pizza Industry. Simply the sauce was fantastic, the cheese was great, but they lost it all with the crust with the advertised wood fire oven. Specifically ordered well done, which you normally wouldn't do with a wood fire oven because it would naturally have a char and a crispness. This pie had none, it was way undercooked and ruined the whole pie. Almost doughy. Such a shame because this pie had everything going for it, yet the one aspect they promote with the wood fire they failed. Now with that said, I am not giving up on them. The sauce and cheese were superb. Maybe they had an off night with the oven? It was a Saturday night and it was really busy. So I wi be back for the Morris County Pizza Tournament on the Pizza Hunters App to give them another shot. That 5th Star Awaits.
We where actually heading to a different place to eat, and saw this place on the way, very inviting atmosphere, so we turned around and decided to give it a shot. Service was excellent and food was on point, you defiantly tell everything is homemade. I would certainly recommend this place.
Great pizza right on the Green. Casual place which I frequent for lunch during the week. They have a very good lunch special and the pizza is always delicious. Definitely far above your average slice here. The sauce is delicious and has the tang I enjoy, the crust is flavorful and is baked atop corn meal (which some dislike, but I quite enjoy). Cheese is good, and the toppings are high quality. I especially recommend their pepperoni which is oversized, and has always been properly baked (no raw pepperoni here!) The prosciutto pizza is also delicious and comes well recommended.
