We took a large group to Toot’s Broad for supper on a Friday night. The place was crowded, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for several tables together. We ordered multiple appetizers - our favorites were the fried pickles and the chips and salsa. For supper most of us stuck with baskets - fried catfish was delicious, fried oysters were really good, chicken fingers were good - you can get them dipped in sauce or just breaded. We tried fries, sweet potato fries and kettle chips as sides - all were fairly good.
The servers were good, kept glasses filled and plates cleared. It is a bit loud, but that fit the group that we had with us. The desserts looked amazing. But I was too full to try them.
We've never had a bad experience at this location. Our server Kathryn was on top of her game tonight. She was very sweet, and very prompt with our food & drinks. My bacon cheeseburger was delicious as always, and my fiancee tried the shrimp po boy tossed in hot garlic for the first time tonight, he said it will definitely be something he'd order again.
This place was awesome. Wait staff was awesome, quick, and on top of things. Good was awesome. Got\loved the wings, the fried pickles (lightly fried) and the house chips that came with french onion dip! Who does that?! Wish there was a place like this back home in Delaware. We came to see Hank Williams Jr jukebox but stayed for the food. The place opened at 11am and was nearly packed by noon.
