If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!! I came here this week with my parents, and the service, atmosphere, and food were great and very affordable! I would especially recommend this place to those who have allergies. My mom is allergic to everything under the sun lol - so she needs food that hasn’t been marinated or premade so she knows there are no spices or oils that might cause her to have a reaction. This is hard to find in a restaurant and often people are not very understanding. But as soon as she told the server the server had a very “can do” attitude and told us they could make anything just from scratch without the spices and marinades etc. the manager also came out just in case since my mom wondered what was in the pasta and they let her know the ingredients which she was able to have and was very relieved that she could actually get something she wasn’t allergic to and that she would enjoy. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to our needs and didn’t make her feel bad or a burden which often is the case. This is very hard to find in a place to eat as it can be frustrating I’m sure for the staff to accommodate but everyone at Aldo’s was so kind and helpful it made it such a pleasant experience!!!! I can’t stress enough how kind the staff was! Now on to the food! I got the shrimp scampi and my dad got the chicken Aldos. It was amazing and full of flavor!!!!! Oh and the bread was like it was made by the gods! It was so fresh along with the oil and smelled divine! Honestly I could have just eaten the bread with the oil and I’d be in heaven. This is such a nice place to go to - for a date or something casual. and I will definitely be going back and recommending it to everyone. Thank you Aldos for making our experience so pleasant!!!
Interior is really nice. It’s pizza but they also offer entrees. Marcos, our server, suggested the meatball appetizer and it was really good. Appetizer came out quickly, entree much longer. Chicken Francaise had a lemon caper sauce , it was great. Pasta was slightly undercooked. They are in the process of changing ownership so no liquor, only one glass of wine or beer per customer. This will change once the new owners get their liquor license.Atmosphere and location is great( close to FGCU) , definitely good for couples, families, and groups.Worth checking out.
Lots of great food to try!
If you’re in the area, make sure to swing through and try Aldo’s! This is one of our favorite Italian spots. It has one of those menus that you just can’t go wrong. We’ve had the pizza, bruschetta, French onion soup, lasagna, and chicken fettuccini. All were delish and would go back for. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun! There is typically a wait to get a table, so plan accordingly.
