Pete is a creative culinary mastermind. His menu is never boring and the food never disappoints. It’s absolute worth waiting in line for! I was dying for his Nutella S’more Puff Pastries he put on the menu tonight, walked in and didn’t see any in his case and was disappointed. He laughed and said he was keeping them behind the counter and then he snuck an extra one in my to go box that I didn’t discover until I got home - nom nom nom!
I love having a local casual gourmet take out within walking distance of my house. The portions are usually enough for two people, making it very economical. The food is delicious and when you stand in line with others, you get to meet your neighbors. Plus the owner is a nice guy too.
High quality, reasonable prices, really really good food. Ten stars.
Seriously addicted to the Thai dipping sauce for the rotisserie chicken and the salted caramel tiramisu. Oh my. The tiramisu is like crack (or what I assume fighting the addiction of crack would be like). I eat half for dessert and the other half for breakfast and I'm always sad I don't have more. Everything we have eaten from here has been excellent. Hands down some of the best food I've ever had around the city. Pete throws down in the kitchen and is quite possibly a food God. Treat yo'self and yo' tastebuds by going to ARS.
