As far as museum restaurants go, this was really good. The ambiance is nice, full bar, and there is a fairly wide variety of food. I love their portobello sandwich and victory garden salad (with chicken!). The French fries are good, but each sandwich or burger comes with a lot of them so if you are looking to go easy on the salt, you may want to swap the fries for something else.
The restaurant gets busy at lunch time and just about any time the movie gets out so I recommend either making reservations or be comfortable waiting a little bit. The longest we waited was 10 minutes, though.
Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is great.
The beer I got tasted like stout somehow. I liked it.
I recommend the all American burger.
And for the beignets fries. If the waiter says it’s big. It’s big. One is enough for 2,3 peoples.
For a museum restaurant the food was really good. The wait was a little long so we opted to sit at the bar. It was a little hard to compete for the bartenders attention to place an order but as they slowed down they became very friendly and talkative which I happen to like. The restaurant was clean (as were the restrooms) an decorated nicely. It gave the feeling of a high end restaurant. Menu prices were reasonable and the food was good.
