I had a very spicy poke bowl from this place I mean, it was very spicy; but despite the spiciness, it was the best poke bowl I have ever had in my life. I will not be getting it with whatever spicy sauce it came with next time though because the following morning I woke up, went to the bathroom, and straight up POOD. 32 minutes of pain, contemplation, and regret. It was well worth it though. Eating here was truly a humbling experience and I cannot wait to go back 🫡
such a cute place! a little bit off the beaten path i think, but worth a stop.
food was delicious, maybe a touch overpriced for the quantity, but i think the quality balances it out - fish seemed pretty good quality!
staff was super friendly too and it was easy to substitute whatever i needed to in my bowl :)
This is the best bowl of Poke you can get in New Orleans, bar none!
The restaurant is clean and bright. The staff is friendly and the bowls are fresh and vibrant!
They have cubed tuna and salmon (which I prefer), not the minced or diced you find elsewhere, that seems to dry out.
They also have an array of interesting sauces and most importantly, they have macadamia nuts, (unlike some Poke places). I think the macadamia nut pieces are essential to the Poke Bowl experience as they offer a specific crunchy texture that contrasts so beautifully with the silkiness of the fish. You just don’t get that kind of crunch from the other crispy toppings.
