This was one the last places on my list of Manhattan steakhouses to try and it did not disappoint. I loved the ambiance. Some might say it’s dated by I appreciate the classic style and decor. If you’re bringing the kids don’t sit in a booth unless you’re cool with all of the pin up era nudity, which I am. My friend and I ordered the porterhouse for 2, goose fat potatoes, drunken mushrooms, black truffle creamed spinach. I’m generally not a fan of peppercorn crust but they only do 1 side so I figured it wouldn’t be too overwhelming and went with the flow. It was perfect. Everything was perfect. The goose fat potatoes were the crispiest I have ever had. Overall I wouldn’t say that the appetizer or dessert selections were too enticing. I would have liked bacon but the way it was prepared seemed very excessive so I skipped it. It seemed more like bacon for people who don’t want to taste the bacon. The bananas foster baked Alaska was interesting. My friend was blown away by it so I guess we will just agree to disagree. It wasn’t bad I just didn’t personally love it. I will definitely be revisiting.

We took our oldest out for dinner for his birthday, and the service and food were exceptional. The filet mignon with the blue cheese crust was, by far, the best dish at the table. My husband ordered the Brussels and they had a little sweet glaze on them: delicious! This was the perfect evening to welcome ourselves to NYC for the holiday. You won’t be disappointed!

Food was pretty good, I think for the price point the steak could have been better. However the service/staff was amazing, and the atmosphere was nice and chill. Overall a great experience!!

I and my bf both agree that this is one of the best steakhouses ever. Food and service were so on point. We absolutely loved their appetizer diver scallops. For entree, we ordered a porterhouse for 2. The steak was so juicy inside and crispy outside. Wine options were not so good but anyway it was a fulfilling and satisfying meal for our Valentine’s Day.

Been to several locations of this steakhouse. What stands out compared to other NY steakhouses is the large chunks of salt and pepper on the surface that absorbs the juices and pops like flavor bombs as you enjoy the tender steak no sauce needed. The variety of bread and room temp butter is crusty, tuna tartare delicious and the chocolate ao decadent most had to doggie bag it to finish later. The service is friendly and knowlegeable, funny the training at all locations pushes the chocolate cake.

I thought I was here for something entirely different. For those of you who share my twisted thoughts, calm down y'all, it's a RESTAURANT, a steakhouse. Tehehe. However, Strip House didn't disappoint with their risqué wall art so there's THAT. **snaps fingers** "LOVE IT!" It was near closing time but what I was able to try was all super delicious. I strongly recommend their cold seafood offerings....WITH a Japanese whisk(e)y of course. Eff what the connoisseurs says. Thank you Norma. It was a pleasure watching you do your thing. So professional yet with a bit of a mummy vibe and the icing on the cake that you and my mummy are name twins! I'll definitely tell all I know about SH and be back for more! The End.

Amazing Midtown NYC Steakhouse. My son's first NY steakhouse and so he exclaimed when is plate arrived ... 'this my first true New York Strip steak' 😁 The food and the service was incredible here. If course the steaks were top notch but the Thick Cut Bacon appetizer and the 1000 Layer Goosefat Potatoes were amazing as well. HIGHLY recommended!

Finally got a chance to try Strip House and it was an excellent meal. The venue is beautiful and the service was wonderfully friendly and very accommodating for dinner at the bar. Steak was cooked perfectly and extremely tender. Be advised they do pepper the steaks heavily which is noticeable as compared to other steakhouses. It's not my preference, but regardless the steak was top notch. Would certainly return.

Has an old time feel to it, dark atmosphere. It's quiet enough for discussion and networking. Steaks are as good as top steak in the city. If you like chocolate, the chocolate cake here is the best. It's a go to midtown steak place.

We went on a fairly quiet evening close to Christmas. Service, food and cocktails were 5 star. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive with an extensive knowledge of the menu. Can’t fault this place. We have been raving about it to our friends and family!

We’re regular visitors to NYC and intentionally avoid restaurants midtown restaurants near Times Square since many of them tend to be tourist traps. The strip house is on the corner of fifth Avenue and 44th St., and did not disappoint. We sat upstairs where I felt the noise was a bit reduced. The food here is pretty amazing especially the Caesar salad, which I think is by far the best I’ve ever had. We had the porterhouse the filet mignon, and had the lobster bisque appetizer. I highly recommend this restaurant and it would be interesting to see the difference between the midtown location and the downtown location.

Great restaurant! I’ve been to the one downtown and this one was just as good. Excellent pepper crusted steaks. Tasted amazing. Our waiter was great and made us feel very welcomed. Had a lovely dinner and I will definitely be back. The creamed spinach was amazing. The fries had some herb seasoning that was very good. All in all excellent steakhouse.

Went to Striphouse for a bachelor party dinner and had a great evening. We were able to get a quick cocktail at the bar before sitting for dinner. We ended up just ordering a couple rounds of food family style which worked out really well. The steaks were delicious, the sides were great, and their wine selection was really nice. Favorite was the 50 oz. Tomhawk special. Very friendly and helpful servers and staff. Definitely recommend!
