What a wonderful addition to the Inwood scene - appealing space, compelling wine list and food to break your diet for.
We drank a wine from Uruguay, a Deicas Tannat - suitably eponymous to the venue, and a great grape.
The food sang to us from the plate and on the palate - small plates like fennel sausage, scallop ceviche and a black bass gravlax, really creative and delightful. The cheeses are wonderfully curated and the pão de queijo, a Brazilian-style cheese bread, melted on the tongue.
Save my seat!
Love the wine, the snacks and the overall vibe of the place. The first thing you notice is the warm, comfortable smell of wood when you walk in and the cozy atmosphere. Definitely a go to spot for a lovely time with friends. :)
The first place I went in New York, based on a recommendation, it didn't disappoint. The food was rustic, earthy and sensual. Amazing wine pairings, and staff are lovely.
