We ordered the ropa vieja, arroz imperial, & sweet plantains. All of it was delicious and authentic! The rice was so delicate - the best rice I've eaten anywhere! (and really, how many places have you eaten at that you rave about the rice?) Let's talk about the drinks! I read on their website that it was happy hour all day, but apparently that really isn't the case. Jose was our waiter/bartender and he was fantastic! We ordered strawberry margaritas & classic mojitos. They were served in tumblers, so I wasn't expecting them to be strong, but let me tell you, we were feeling those drinks before we finished the first glass! We were not disappointed at all by the lack of $5 drinks - these were worth every penny ($9). The night ended with complimentary shots of tequila. Great experience and we will be back!
Great food and service. The place has a feel of an old time diner with plenty of counter seating.
This Original Floridita Flagship Restaurant has been around for many years, and i a happy to say its Cuban sandwiches are still among the best Cuban sandwiches you can find anywhere from Havana, Miami to New York!
