My friends and I were looking for a bakery in Harlem this past Saturday when we stumbled upon LASweets bakery. Upon walking inside, we were hit with not only delicious aromas but the sweet sounds of Queen Beyonce. The owners were so nice and kind and whipped us up a chocolate/vanilla cake in 15 min. Let me tell you -- this was one the best vanilla cakes (chocolate frosting) I have ever bought. I am normally super apprehensive about purchasing a cake, being the flavors are normally dry and artificial - but this cake was UNREAL. I highly recommend heading here to purchase a cake or even other treats. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!
The most amazing cakes and cupcakes on this side of heaven. This will make you throw your shoe off and run around the house when you taste the mouthwatering cakes. I especially love the red velvet cupcakes and cake. I am originally from North Carolina and these desserts made me think about dinner after church and big momma in the kitchen cooking!! Yes its food for the soul and will comfort anyone and make life a lot sweeter. I love it and Loretta is phenomenal woman of Character and talent on top of all her delicious bake goods. You must come to Harlem to LA SweetsNY before you leave NYC!! Enough Said (mic drop)���
This place has THE BEST CAKES in America! I have never had cakes so good in my life. I brought a few pieces of cake home along with some cupcakes and my family went nuts!! ... the kids were placing orders for their birthdays and kept flip flopping with each new delicious bite because it's all so wonderful. Usually a place has one or 2 things they do really well but I seriously can't believe that EVERYTHING we tried made our mouths sing an orchestea or "MMmmmmss" serinaded this Delicious Sunday.
I will def be back or else the Birthdays of 4 children and 3 adults will be ruined. Haha. We had so much fun with this place!!! The owners were Sweet.

I purchased an entire Red Velvet Cake �. 2 days later I went to the store for ice cream got ready to cut me a piece and to my surprise it was still totally fresh. My wife really enjoyed the assortment of cupcakes as well. So I found another Beautiful Gem � in Harlem, N.Y.... Monthly sugar fix has been approved by the family
I had the Key Lime Cupcake, it was truly to die for. The coffee that was served was excellent. Planning on re-visiting from Long Island and having the Key Lime Cheese Cake.
Everything that is made there is far superior to anything you have ever had.

I had the most amazing birthday cake!!! My Red Bottom/Pillow Cake... Yaaaassssss!!!! It was absolutely gorgeous and tasted absolutely amazing!!!! �

i had to fight off my husband cause he was trying to eat mine also.LOL
Stumbled upon this lil piece of sweet heaven and haven't stopped sharing with others about it. The couple who owns and runs the business is very special. Everything I've tried has been so good! Be warned if you are bringing yours home for later, lock it up or bring extra, because your family will call themselves sampling your slice and wont be able to stop themselves until they only leave the aroma and a tiny bit of frosting in the box for you, prompting you to think about your life's choices and actions .... 😞😜.

I got cupcakes for my Nana's birthday and she and my ma enjoyed then. I even treated myself to a vegan cupcake first I couldn't believe it was vegan and second I was mad at myself for only getting one. I couldn't have gotten 6 and fooled my family lml.
I brought a red velvet cupcake home for my daughter, and she declared it, "The best cupcake she ever had in HER LIFE!" I guess it goes without saying that we'll be back!
