Dougs point pizza in my experience has been consistent, unlike many other establishments in the area. Also, the delivery charge is minimal.
Have not had Doug’s in a long time and have it a try tonight, absolutely fantastic!! Pizza was hot when it was delivered and it was done in a timely manner. Absolutely made us regret not ordering from them in so long!
This is my favorite pizza in Newark, Pizza Cottage has great pizza too but are very pricey.
This is the only place I know where they make their own dough, reminds me of the homemade crust my Dad made when I was a kid. the pizza is also baked in an old fashioned oven, the type where they have to watch for when it's done, not one put on a conveyor chain.
The sauce is perfectly seasoned with great toppings. I like the all the way!
one of the best prices in town as well, ask for their specials when you call... two extra large 17in. two toppings usually for just over $21, or two large 15" for under $19.
I just ordered the 2-17" two topping special and had one made all the way for under $29.
As far as I know they will also accept local area checks. Highly recommend!
we've been ordering pizza from their Cedar St. location for about 20 years now, never had a problem with the help. we pick up now that we live out of town but they also deliver in town.
