C’est Si Bon is a pretty good bakery, and the line is always out the door because it’s so darn cheap. Where else can you get a croissant for <$3? But don’t expect an elevated, authentic French bakery experience. You do get what you pay for.
Unfortunately, the low cost is reflected in the quality of some of their items. Some are good for the price, others aren’t worth having even if they’re cheap.
WORTH HAVING:
-sandwiches (flavorful and great bread)
-croissants (not amazing, but decent for the price)
-chocolate truffles (so rich and yummy)
-baguettes (tasty and served warm)
-coffee (decent cup of joe and piping hot)
SKIPS:
-cinnamon rolls (dry and not great flavor)
-brownies (taste cakey, not fudgy like a brownie should)
-muffins (they don’t look appetizing, because they aren’t)
I haven’t tried their cakes or tarts yet but will give those a shot next!
Overall I think it’s worth standing in line for some pretty affordable delights, but just know it’s hit or miss.
A perfect venue for a birthday celebration, excellent food and service by our server Beth. Defiantly return. Ample portions lots of accompaniments. One leaves very satisfied.
Delicious roast beef sandwich. All ingredients are fresh and high quality. Raspberry cheesecake was also wonderful
