Not to disparage any other coffee shop in town, but this quickly became my favorite. The vibe is great. There's an ecclectic aray of of seating, tables and chairs in various heights and sizes. The decor is a clean neo-reclamation style. There have a small section of gifts. Things like pictures with wanderlust themed sayings on them, to coffee quips, to a Sterno S'more maker with assorted flavors of marshmallows to try. The coffee beans they use is by Moka Joe's, which isn't my favorite but it at least isn't a Charbucks clone. Try their menu. They have breakfast and lunch covered well. They have a kids section, and they also offer healthy made to order smoothies. You can order online. They also offer beer and wine. I hope you give Rock Island a shot. You'll be glad you did.
Great new spot in town. Decorated well. It is much bigger than I expected. Some large tables to accommodate groups. Stroller-friendly. Breakfast & coffee were delicious. Good service. Clean. Will definitely be going back!
The coffee is as good or better than most Pacific NW establishments. The "lavender" latte is wondrous. Surprisingly, the short order food including pizzas and sandwiches is really superb. They have an Italian grinder to die for, plus the portions in general are large and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend. Relaxing decor also. Staff is friendly too, no issues..
