I have been a loyal regular for eight years now and love the fact Drag 'N' Fly is more than just a place to run in and grab a coffee, but the friendship made with the owner and her staff has added a since of family, including the other regulars.
I would like to add that a few days ago while the owner was making my favorite Americano and we were chatting about a recipe, there was an older lady whom approached. She leaned over my shoulder and yelled, "I'm running really late and want a Latte. I usually go to another shop and won't come here again. She continued to be extremely rude as the owner calmly explained that she was making my drink as we conversed and apologized that the new customer misunderstood that we weren't just "hanging out", but that she was multi-tasking. The lady said she would never come back and it made me upset.
First, there is no reason to talk that way being rude, self entitled. Second it tells me the lady does not have a personal relationship with her barista and third she does not have the concept of how coffee is made since the shots were pouring. I wonder if her attitude would have been different if she knew she was speaking to the owner of the shop whom was calm and professional. Keep up the great coffee making, family loving, welcoming Drag 'N' Fly you are!!
