My best friend and I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem on our walk home from the Jack London Square Farmer's Market. She had the sesame noodles, I had the street beef noodle soup (which I'm really glad I did!), and we shared the mushrooms in hot oil. It was excellent. The noodles were asymmetrical and some parts were thicker than others (even within the same noodle). But the noodles are prepared in house so one can expect some of that. It's the flavor that matters more to me and this place had PLENTY of it!
Everything was fresh, fresh, fresh! And you can taste the love in their food! There were mostly Asian people at this Asian eatery--which is a really good sign. They placed a big speaker outside, playing really fun 80's+ music at just the right volume. Currently, they only have outdoor seating and a bit accepting Apple/Google pay. I admit, the service was a bit slow but not terrible by any means and definitely worth the wait.
There were some regulars while I was there, which the staff knew by name. Pretty cool. I may become a regular myself!
Went to check this place out for the noodles! The noodles themselves are made fresh and amazing texture, I do recommend their most popular dish, sorry forgot the name, but the D11 twice cooked pork was okay.. wouldn’t get that again.
I was craving Chinese noodles after my friend was mentioning about it. First time coming here and loved the amount of food selections, especially for sauce noodles and noodle soups. I ordered the chongqing noodles and beef tendon with chili oil. Highly recommend! Also, the server was super friendly and provided great service. One of the things I miss most about Asia is the extreme hospitality. Definitely got that feeling here. Glad I came here and will definitely come back to try their other recommendations!
