Cannot recommend highly enough - even with San Francisco dining standards this place absolutely rocks it. From the Peruvian street corn amuse bouche all the way through the world-glass cherimoya dessert, this place aces every category. Service is polite, informative, and not oppressive or obsequious. The surroundings are bright without being glare-y, creative, and energizing, with a diversity of table types.
The food holds its traditional origins with modern spices and preparation styles. Everything we got was impeccable, and even the humble carapulcra was seriously to write home about. Finally, the drinks were amazing examples of cocktail craft, with special recommendations for both the common sangria (done as it should be with brandy) and uncommon algorrobina cocktail (symphony of flavors I haven't experienced since being in Peru!).
Great Peruvian restaurant. We had a nice lunch the food was very good delicious.i highly recommend the ceviche white fish. My friend had the spatial chicken he liked very much. I am glad they are open and doing good.
Best service I've had in a very long time and great Peruvian rotisserie! A small but fine selection of local craft brew and Peruvian bottled beer. Highly recommended spot in Piedmont.
