For the price it was great. The portions are huge and service was fast
The food looked appetizing. There was a great selection. The squid and frog legs are my favorite. There were several types of shrimp dishes which I tried 3 and liked very much.
My husband enjoyed the crawfish. The macaroons are THE best.
It was a friendly atmosphere, with people talking with one another.
We have been there with a large group. It was liked by all and we will return.
I really wanted some vegetable dishes and they were really good, today. I was the only one in the restaurant for most of my visit, so, the service was excellent!
The reason for the 4 Stars instead of 5 is that there are a couple of meat dishes that I always get a taste of, regardless of getting mostly vegetables. The meats had been out a while and the sauces of those particular dishes had somewhat boiled off leaving them a little dry. I asked if they would bring out some of the sauce that made up those dishes to "freshen them up," and they did. My visit was in an "off time" for most diners, so I'm sure that the dishes would be fine at regular eating times.
All in all, it was a pleasant "breakfast" for me.
