I stopped in for a quick bite late afternoon while attending an event nearby. First impression was how cozy and inviting. I was seated in a booth near the bar. My server arrived quickly and took my order. Hot bread with plenty of butter arrived while waiting for my food 😋which didn’t take long at all. My server was fantastic and reminded me of the service received at very fine restaurants. I ordered the smaller portion of Parmesan Chicken and was impressed by the size it was. The chicken was tender and piping hot just like I love. I am planning on coming back whenever I am in this area!
We dine here regularly. Had a bit of gristle in my ribeye once. All other times it’s been perfect. Always perfectly prepared. Baked potatoes are made the way I like with a salted outside and always baked until the inside is fluffy. The blue cheese dressing is wonderful. Prices are very fair. We’ll continue to visit regularly.
What can I say, it's a franchise. That being said, the consistency and standardization is what you can count on. The meals were good, the service excellent. We sat at the bar first to wait for friends. Had appetizers and drinks. Bartender was great. We had the stuffed mushrooms, super creamy. Lobster/crab soup was good, nothing out of the ordinary. We later went to our booth, had the salmon and a 6oz. steak. Salmon was cooked perfect, seasoning ok. Steak was cooked perfect, medium rare but just a tad over seasoned, still good though. Service was great. You want a good steak and good service, and willing to pay a premium price, you can't go wrong at a Longhorn's unless you can cook it yourself! Will I return? At some point, yes. Prices, like everywhere else have gone up, but it's a good night out.
