Impeccable service, great food. Pricey, but as to be expected in Palm Springs. The restaurant is located on the strip. Street parking is available as well as free parking behind the restaurant. We went on a Wednesday evening shortly after they opened, it was quiet. The decor is nice, but a bit outdated, however it’s very clean. The steaks were tasty and tender. The salmon was fantastic; perfectly prepared! The sauce that accompanied it was not overpowering and is served on the side. This was the first time I’d had Chilean sea bass so I have no basis for comparison. It was cooked very well but wasn’t impressive. Sides are ordered à la carte, but portions are suitable for 2-3 people. I was excited to try the au gratin potatoes, they were good but not as flavorful as I expected them to be. The Brussels sprouts were good also, but not the best I’ve had. Dessert was good but also not great. The brownie was the best we tried. The lava cake was good but it had too strong of a cinnamon flavor (and I like cinnamon) for my taste. The vanilla crème brûlée.was disappointing. It tasted more like egg than vanilla, although the crust was perfect. My absolute favorite item was the bacon wrapped dates. They are savory and delicious. You have to try them! The prices seem very steep for what you get, but it’s Palm Springs, so it’s to be expected. Overall I would recommend this LG’s Prime Steakhouse if you want to spend an arm and a leg.
