As a long time resident of Parchment, I grew up with Geno's pizza, but moved out of state after getting married. I was thrilled to be back in Parchment 14 years later so I could have Geno's again. The customer service from the staff has always been excellent.
Geno’s was good. It didn’t really have any stand-out qualities that would make it a “gotta have it” for me (I typically prefer thin, crispy crust pizzas), but it’s a fantastic pizza place to have in your hometown. The locals seem to love the place…and they’ve been in business for over 40 years so you know they’re doing something right. I’m not in Parchment often, but I have been there enough to know that Geno’s was there and it’s always been on my list of pizza places to try. It one that I would visit again should my travels take me back to this part of Kalamazoo County.
A Parchment staple! My family has been ordering from, or eating at, Genos for years and years and years! Their pizza is something I truly miss now that I live half a world away... I also loved their roast beef sub!
The inside of the place leaves much to be desired and the customer service needs some MAJOR work. The guys behind the counter couldn't care less and, although we've been ordering from them for years, still act like we're strangers.
Still, for the pizza and the specials, for its long-time presence in town, and for all of the milestone events we've had at their restaurant, Geno's will always hold a special place in my heart.
